Who we are
My Solace is operated by Kelly King ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using My Solace, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What My Solace does
My Solace is a private journal with an AI companion called Spirit that reads what you've written and reflects back with warmth. Your free 7-day trial gives you full access. A one-off £3.99 payment unlocks Spirit's reflections and affirmations for life.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use My Solace for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
- Try to break, probe, scrape, or interfere with the service or other accounts;
- Upload or share content that infringes someone else's rights;
- Use Spirit to generate hateful, harassing, or illegal content;
- Resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the service.
About Spirit (AI)
Spirit is an AI companion designed to be warm and supportive. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor. Spirit's replies may be inaccurate or imperfect; please don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. If you are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself or others, please contact a trusted person or a qualified professional in your country.
Your journal entries
You own everything you write. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store your entries and send them to Spirit to generate a reflection for you. We do not share or sell your entries.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. See our refund policy for details, and Paddle's Buyer Terms for billing and tax terms.
Service availability
We try our best to keep My Solace running smoothly, but we don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" without implied warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or put it or other users at risk. If you'd like to close your account, just let us know.
Our liability
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where it cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date. Continued use of My Solace means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
